Lol! You had us there with the GB pics! It really looks outstanding. Don't forget to paint the black on the inside the hood near the wipers when you get around to the black. Many restored Mach 1's miss this detail. EDIT: here's a discussion with pictures...

I've had good luck with Norton Abrasives brushes.

I went with the Ferrea valves. No issues and they offer a nice military discount if you're a veteran.

Personally not a fan of parts that are just dress up, but I wouldn't knock you adding them if that's what you like. Still interested in how the brakes work out.

I have a pair of the new HF 6T stands. They are as well-constructed as any I've used or seen. I have no complaints.
