"You posted in this thread" sign
#1
I´m missing the old sign that indicated that I have posted in a thread. It used to be a little circle. It was especially useful on the introduction threads where now I always have to look through it to see if I have indeed posted a "welcome" to the new member.
Or is something there to indicate that that I´m missing?

Doesn't it tell you if you posted or not when you hover on the forum icon?

That method seems to be working for me.  It takes a few seconds, but tells if there are any new posts since you selected it last and shows if you have posted.

I couldn't get a screen shot but here is a photo of it workking...just hold your cursor over the icon on the left of the thread...

I discovered the 'hold over the icon' but frankly it is a pain compared to the visual indicator we previously enjoyed. I know... first world problem. Wink

Oh, ok. I hadn't found that feature. My problem is that I usually check in on the iPhone using the desktop version ( either mobile nor tapatalk) and on the phone there is no cursor to hover over anything. Smile

Yeah, it is a complex system with MyBB software...I'm not sure if I can change the icons or not.

Have you iPhone guys tried Tapatalk yet?  It is really nice and has tabs for unread posts as well as new replies to post that you participated in!

I know it's pretty subtle... but aren't the thread titles themselves different colors for different 'status?'  I know new threads are not as bright as ones I've read, as well as threads I've posted in with unread posts are purple, instead of blue... etc.

Or is it just me?  I AM red-green color-blind after all. whistling

I saw the difference in brightness between headlines I just clicked and others but I did not notice any difference in color.
I used tapatalk for quite a while but I quit using it a year or two ago when they made some upgrade that gave me some kind of trouble. I think it was with posting pictures or something. I don't remember correctly.
