World's Greatest Glass Cleaner
#1
Once used a product called Glass Wax and then they quit making it.
Came in a silver and pink can and the product was pink. You apply
a dab with a damp rag and wait for it to dry to a haze like car wax.
Wipe off the haze and you have sparkling clean glass.
Have been told the original manufacturer went out of business, BUT
sold the formula rights to TR Industries. Although made in the USA,
the label reads "Limpiador y arbrillantador de Cristales"; glass cleaner.
Can be found here

The best little known secret regarding glass cleaner.

Newspaper is by far the best wiping medium. It is very tough, it is lint free, and it can get into that sliver of space between the windshield and front of the dash. If it does rip, the piece is always large enough to use THE CLAW to remove it.

I use to use newspaper back in the day it was real newspaper back then & worked great..Now a days it's not the same..leaves lots of little pieces of lint. Been using the adams waffle towels for a truly streak free finish.

Glass Wax was very good, and was also good for water spots.

And, newspaper is the best, back in my Army days it was the only thing we used for windows before inspections.

Yeah...newspaper isn't what it used to be. But I find it pretty hard to beat the WSJ in this regard. Would never use the NY or LA Times...don't know if the newspaper itself is crappy or if the content just bleeds into the paper.
