You are still in the running...Torch/Flashlight is half of the correct answer!  We need to know what makes this item 'rare'

It is a flashlight but more specific on what it does or how it works.

Possibly but more likely from Cat Woman's utility belt.

Camera...no.  Flashlight yes.  What does it do/how does it work?

No, one color only!

Are you and Tony-Muscle hangin' out together?  LOL

Ok, so we still have a few non-VIP members in the running that have guessed torch or flashlight!  That is half correct but we need a specific reason as to why this light is special or rare!

Hint: It does something that other lights can't but it doesn't have something that most other lights do!

Other than normal visible light spectrum like infrared ?

It looks like it's hermetically sealed - intrinsically safe for Gas/hazard environments - possibly LED based

No...normal light output.

Possible but not specified...It does appear to be sealed and it is LED.

But what is it's claim to fame?

I did mention tactical in previous post
Some call it UC3 - 300 some call it PC3 -300

I still don't get the claim to fame though.. I have claims to fame ...but they are more about other humans -- meeting Bowie, Tina Turner, Ronnie Wood, Frankie Valli and the four Seasons ...there; that's the sum total of my broadcast, communication electronics life right there...

We have a winner!!!

The claim to fame is that is never needed batteries and it would fully charge in 90 seconds!  It worked with some kind of chemical capacitor but it was said to be unsafe and could explode of improperly charged so it is now no longer available.

1sostatic is the winner and is our newest VIP Member!!

Thanks everyone for playing!!!   thumb
