What is this?

the two red wires with the connector and the black wire with green hashes?
Ill have to check with mine later and see...Im heading too a batcholors party for a freind getting married...lol....I hate finding unhooked wires ..lol..Who knows if it was some option your car didnt come with..Or something rerouted or took off.
I looked at the wiring diagrams on this site and I believe the black with light green wire goes to the Windshield wiper/washer switch. You'll have to look at them and confirm. Still unsure about the red wires you mention.

OK on further review that black wire with light green hash marks is a main feed off the ignition switch circuit.
and it goes to many things...

Yeah..if everything works, it usually is nothing to worry about.

There are several loose wires on a Mustang for options. Could be AC, or power windows, or convertible top.

Could use a VOM and see if you get power there with ignition on/off.

ok so the black with green wire is coming off of the headlight wiring harness, what does it plug into ?
figured it out!! when i was retaping my harness i covered up the wire it connected at the heater
Does anyone know what the red wire is. i figured out the black/green wire
Isn't that a red/yellow dot wire? If so, it's used for the carb solenoid/emissions line. You can leave it alone.

Let me check your shorts!
