How to buy a '71-73 Mustang:
Rule #1: Assume all classic car sellers are guilty until proven innocent.
Rule #2: No classic car dealer is ever innocent; thus, they are all guilty.
Rule #3: Buy from trustworthy people: Fellow forum members. Visit 7173Mustang's For Sale forum.

I've heard "stable" or "corral" used as well as "herd"

The one on the far right is the 94-98 body style. The middle one looks like the last couple of years. Not sure about the one on the far left! Smile

The original idea was to compare car sizes. Ours are reputed, not always in a favorable manor,
to being the largest Mustangs ever made. The picture does not substantiate that claim but my
mechanic says we have the largest wheel base both side to side and front to rear. What say you?

I don't know about wheel base, but the 05+ have larger body dimensions(length, width, height) than out cars. even though its minimal.

Longer and wider (IF they are) just make a more stable better driving car! Big Grin

Low buck, touring style, '73 Convertible "rolling restoration", 351c, 2v heads with a shave and a haircut, Performer intake, Holley 650(ish), roller rockers, screw in studs, guideplates, stainless valves, Duraspark / Motorsports MSD, T-5 conversion. 1-1/8" front, 3/4" rear swaybars KYB shocks and some home brewed subframe connectors. Future plans; JGC steering box, Cobra brakes and... paint, interior, etc.

When I die I want to die like grandpa, peacefully in my sleep... not screaming, like his passenger.
