Weekly Fun Question for March 15, 2014
Good Day All,

We have a special treat this week with the Weekly Fun Question exercise as VIP Member Kit Sullivan has generously donated VIP membership (a $25.00 value) to the regular member who is the first to submit the desired response to this week's problem. This will be in addition to the usually nice Icon that will be awarded.

This week's question is based on a submission by CZ-75, the winner of last week's VIP Weekly Fun Question exercise.

The problem:

Which of the following features was/were not STANDARD on a 1971 Mach 1 with a 429CJ (C-Code) engine?

a. Competition suspension

b. F70 X 14 tires with raised white letters

c. Mach 1 hood

d. 80-ampere battery

Keep in mind that you will not normally see the responses submitted by other Members until the thread is transferred to the WFQ Archive Forum.

This exercise will end at approximately 7:00 PM (CST) on Monday, March 17, 2014.

Good Luck!

BT
The desired response is "b. F70 X 14 tires with raised white letters."

The standard tires for the 1971 Mach 1 with a 429CJ engine was actually the F70 X 14 with white side walls. The F70 X 14 with raised white letters was available as an option.

I'll say B. The F70x14 raised white letter tires.

Good Day All!

I am surprised that only one Member responded to this question.

To repeat the problem:

Which of the following features was/were not STANDARD on a 1971 Mach 1 with a 429CJ (C-Code) engine?

a. Competition suspension

b. F70 X 14 tires with raised white letters

c. Mach 1 hood

d. 80-ampere battery

The desired response is "b. F70 X 14 tires with raised white letters."

The standard tires for the 1971 Mach 1 with a 429CJ engine was actually the F70 X 14 with white side walls. The F70 X 14 with raised white letters was available as an option.

Based on the above, 73MustangCoupe is the "Winner" and will receive a nice Icon and (as a result of VIP Member Kit Sullivan's generosity) an upgrade to VIP status. Congratulations 73MustangCoupe!
