Weekly Fun Question for 8-06-2011
Good Day:

The Weekly Fun Question (WFQ) is an exercise to give "General" Members the opportunity to test their knowledge on information relative to the '71 - '73 Mustangs.

It is also designed to allow the same members the chance to have a nice #1 Icon added to their profile when they are the FIRST to provide the desired response. If a general member "wins" on three (3) separate occasions, the member will have his/her membership (a $25.00 value) paid for a VIP subscription.

Please note when you respond to this thread, your "answer" will not appear until the end of the current contest (usually at approximately 7:00 P.M. {CST}) the following Monday when the thread is transferred to the "Archives" Forum. So, even though there may have been a number of replies to the question, those replies may not necessarily be correct. Today's contest will end at approximately 7:00 P.M. on Monday, August 8, 2011.

While VIP members can also "play", their reward is "bragging rights" amongst their peers on the VIP Forum. General members are NOT competing against VIP members in this exercise. VIP members have their very own periodic "contest" which has an even more substantive award.

Also, please keep in mind that ANY General Member can always sign up for VIP Membership (which helps with the administration of the Site) by paying the $25.00 subscription feeSmile!

The question for this week is once again a Multiple Choice one.

How many 351 2V Mustangs built during the 1971 - 1973 model years had the C4 transmission installed from the factory?

A. 0 (none)

B. 2

C. 4,228

D. 14,428

Good Luck!

The correct response was actually "B" as there were two (2) 351 2V Convertibles built in 1973 with the C4 transmission.

Do the RIGHT thing.

Well, in the last 24 hours we have NOT received a correct response from the General membership, so you still have a chance if you have not previously submitted a response to this question.

If you have already submitted a response, do not submit another response as it will not countSmile.

Good Luck!

A I think this is a trick question!
It appears that for one of the few times this year, we have stumped the "General" membership as no one provided the required response.

The desired response was actually "B" as there were two (2) 351 2V Convertibles built in 1973 with the C4 transmission.

While we did not have a correct response from the "General" membership, "don65stang" from the VIP Forum did have the correct response. Can anybody on the VIP board stop this Sleuth? It should be noted that "will e" was on the right track but provided an incorrect "official" answer.

Congratulations to don65stang, again!!
