Weekly Fun Question for 7-23-2011
Good Day:

The Weekly Fun Question (WFQ) is an exercise to give "General" Members the opportunity to test their knowledge on information relative to the '71 - '73 Mustangs.

It is also designed to allow the same members the chance to "win" a nice #1 Icon added to their profile when they are the first to provide the desired response. If a general member "wins" on three (3) separate occasions, the member will have his/her membership (a $25.00 value) paid for a VIP subscription.

This week's WFQ is a SPECIAL one in that an Anonymous Member has made a donation to award some General Member VIP status. As a result we have decided that the first General Member to respond with the acceptable answer will be declared the winner and given the award.

Please note when you respond to this post, your "answer" will not appear until the end of the current contest when the thread is transferred to the "Archives" Forum. Today's contest will end at approximately 7:00 P.M. on tonight (Saturday, July 23, 2011).

While VIP members can also "play", their reward is "bragging rights" amongst their peers on the VIP Forum. General members are NOT competing against VIP members in this exercise. VIP members have their very own periodic "contest" which has an even more substantive awardSmile.

The problem for this week is a Multiple Choice question:

During the 1971 - 1973 production of the Mustang, which of the following engines was NOT available in 1972?

A. 250-1V

B. 302-2V

C. 351HO-4V

D. 429CJ-4V

Good Luck!

BT

The required answer is "D", the 429CJ-4V.

There were 9,774 Mustangs built with the 250-1V engine in 1972

There were 62,936 Mustangs built with the 302-2V engine in 1972

There were 10,249 Mustabgs built with the 351CJ-4V engine in 1972

There were NO (0) Mustangs built with the 429CJ-4V engine in 1972

Markmel, please PM TNFASTBK to make arrangements for the enlargement of the photo of your Mustang. Congratulations on your correct response to the question.
