Weekly Fun Question for 6-18-2011
Good Day:

The Weekly Fun Question (WFQ) is an exercise to give "General" Members the opportunity to test their knowledge on information relative to the '71 - '73 Mustangs.

It is also designed to allow the same members the chance to "win" a nice #1 Icon added to their profile when they are the first to provide the desired response. If a general member "wins" on three (3) separate occasions, the member will have his/her membership (a $25.00 value) paid for a VIP subscription.

Please note when you respond to this post, your "answer" will not appear until the end of the current contest (usually at approximately 7:00 P.M. {CST}) the following Monday when the thread is transferred to the "Archives" Forum. Today's contest will end at approximately 7:00 P.M. on Monday, June 20, 2011.

While VIP members can also "play", their reward is "bragging rights" amongst their peers on the VIP Forum. General members are NOT competing against VIP members in this exercise. VIP members have their very own periodic "contest" which has an even more substantive awardSmile.

The problem for this week is:

Please identify the District Sales Office (DSO) that sold the most 1971 - 1973 Mustang Convertibles.

Good Luck!

BT

Yes, as odd as it may seem on the surface, Boston (DSO 11) had the highest number of Convertibles ordered for the 1971 - 1973 Mustangs with 1,935 being sold. This is considering approximately sixty (60) total DSOs.

Figures were as follows:

1971 - 541 out of 6,121 or 8.84%

1972 - 518 out of 6,401 or 8.09%

1973 - 876 out of 11,853 or 7.39%

Strange as it may seem, Los Angeles was not "in the running." Chicago with 1,468 was in 2nd place and Washington was in 3rd place with 1,387 being sold.
None

Do the RIGHT thing.

DSO 71 - Los Angeles is my guess.

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. James 3:17 (KJV)

We did not have a correct response from the ranks of the regular members. However, we did have a correct response from the VIP Membership - - 71 ramair 4-speed mach 1!

My CONGRATULATIONS to 71 ramair 4-speed mach 1 who once again earns "Bragging Rights" on the VIP Forum.
