Weekly Fun Question for 4-09-2011
Good Day All:

The Weekly Fun Question (WFQ) is an exercise to give "General" members the opportunity to test their knowledge on information relative to the '71 - '73 Mustangs. It is also designed to allow the same members the chance to "win" a nice #1 Icon when they are the first to provide the desired response. If a general member "wins" on three separate occasions, the member will have his/her membership (a $25.00 value) paid for a VIP subscription.

Please note that when you respond to this post, your "answer" will not appear until the end of the current contest (usually at approximately 7:00 P.M. {CST}) the following Monday when the thread is normally transferred to the "Archives" Forum.

While VIP members can also "play", their reward is "bragging rights" amongst their peers on the VIP Forum. General members are NOT competing against VIP members in this exercise. VIP members have their very own "contest" which has even more substantive awardsSmile.

The question for this week is:

Can you name five other vehicles that shared the same Power Steering Pressure Hose as a 1973 351 2V Mustang?

Good Luck!

BT
I will admit that the question is a little bit tricky as it tends to make one focus on the '73 351C 4V engine. Actually, ALL '73 V8 cars shared the same power steering pressure hoseSmile. The correct response would have been any five (5) of the following:

1973 351 2V Mustang
1973 302 2V Mustang
1973 Cougar
1972 351 2V Mustang (After May 1, 1972)
1972 351 4V Mustang (After May 1, 1972)
1972 302 2V Mustang (After May 1, 1972)
1971 429 Mustang
1971 429 Cougar

Well, since we're talking about my power steering hose, I'll guess 73 Torino, 73 Falcon, 73 Thunderbird, 73 F-100 and 73 Bronco.

A couple of you were able to get in the general area of the acceptable response but it appears that this is a week without a winner.

At least I can say, "I've got the same power steering pump hose as a 71 Mustang 429! So there!" Tongue
