Weekly Fun Question for 3-19-2011
Good Day:

First of all, I again offer my SINCERE apologies for not posting the Weekly Fun Question (WFQ) on yesterday as scheduled. My 11-year old Son had the opportunity to attend a "Master's" Tae Kwon Do Seminar in Huntsville, Alabama so we decided to drive over for the all day event.

The WFQ is an exercise to give "General" members the opportunity to test their knowledge on information (sometimes obscureSmile) relative to the '71 - '73 Mustangs.

It is also designed to allow the same members the chance to "win" a nice #1 Icon when they are the first to provide the desired response. If a general member "wins" on three separate occasions, the member will have his/her membership (a $25.00 value) paid for a VIP subscription. Please note that when you respond to this post, your "answer" will not appear until the end of the current contest (usually at approximately 7:00 P.M. {CST}) the following Monday when the thread is transferred to the "Archives" Forum. Since this week's WFQ was delayed by a day, I will end the current contest at approximately 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 22, 2011.

While VIP members can also "play", their reward is "bragging rights" amongst their peers on the VIP Forum. General members are NOT competing against VIP members in this exercise. VIP members have their very own "contest" which has even more substantive awardsSmile.

The question for this week is on the 1971 Mustang and is:

Can you identify the mandatory rear axle ratio for a 1971 Mustang that came with a 351 2V, 3-Speed transmission, ram air option and Air Conditioning?

Good Luck!

BT
A number of you correctly identified the 3.00:1 as the mandatory rear axle gear ratio of a 1971 Mustang with the ram air option, air conditioning and a 3-speed manual transmission -- You all did GOOD!
forspeed

Do the RIGHT thing.
