Weekly Fun Question for 1-15-2011
Good Day All:

This is the first "Weekly Fun Question" utilizing the new procedures whereby general members must respond directly to the post rather than sending the response in via PM.

Please note that when you respond, it will not immediately show up on the thread. All general membership responses will become visible at the "close-out" of the question which will normally be at approximately 7:00 PM (CST) the following Monday.

VIP members may also respond to the "Weekly" for bragging rights. VIP members should PM their responses to "rocketfoot" and me(cobra3073) and not respond to this thread directly.

The other guidelines remain in effect. The first general member who responds correctly to the question will receive a nice #1 Icon. A general member who "wins" on three separate occasions will have his/her fees paid for elevation to VIP status.

The question for this week is:

Which of the four optional wheels and/or covers was standard on the 1973 Mach 1?

Good Luck!

BT
To recap, the WFQ for this week is:

Which of the four optional wheels and/or covers was standard on the 1973 Mach 1?

I must admit that this was designed as a "trick" question. As some of you may know, the standard wheels for All Mustangs through 1973 were stamped steel with a ventilated disc welded to a safety type rim. The only other "wheel" in 1973 was the optional forged aluminum wheel. The "key" words in this question were "optional wheels and/or covers" and "standard."

The correct response is..."Hub caps with trim rings."

We do have winner - - david020278 who was the first and ONLY general member to respond with the correct response.

Is there anyone out there in the General membership who can compete against this Mustang EnthusiastSmile? This is David's 2nd win so with one more he will be getting VIP membership and eligible to compete for the BIG awards.

Congratulations, David on your second Number 1 Icon!!
