You guys got too smart about these cars so we had to cancel.

Actually, BT got a little overwhelmed ast year and took a break. Ray was brought on board due to his vast knowledge and mountainous collection of original factory publications and literature but the WFQ didn't quite recover.

On behalf of the staff, we are open to hear suggestions as to how to move forward with it. I'll see if we can revive an episode for this weekend.

I became disinterested when the questions became too obscure

I agree, not every one ownes the book by the numbers, so when you ask how many cars were built with paint code XX and engine XY, and trans BB and trim code XYZ

thats a bit much.

OK. All most every Question will require some research, unless you can just recall some related previous research you have done. For me - I have to check and re-check! These questions allows us to HAVE FUN, learn and have the opportunity to openly discuss any possible misinformation and re-verify what we have learned. aka Keeping it Real! LOL

Questions; once answered will list documents from where the information originated.

Information about our cars is interesting. And no one knows it all! Just be being a member on this site, I have learned much. A lot of the info I THOUGHT I knew was wrong.

My interest is to know what has or has not been changed on cars from their 'as factory delivered' state.

Since I'm newer to the site, I never really saw the questions everyone is referring to but I do have a few ideas/comments. One way to keep it fun and maybe make it a little more diverse would be to issue some kind of challenges...such as: Fastest Mach 1 on record, Highest recorded sale price for a Mach, 'vert, etc., or most decorated stang. Could be by year or model or ??? Maybe mix in a few questions like this that encourage the forum to dig up some fun information that may or may not be "official" but could be quite fun and entertaining. Just a thought!
