VIP WFQ for 9/21/2013
Good Day All:

Information relative to the Weekly Fun Question (WFQ) exercise can be found on a thread under the "Site News" Forum.

The Problem for this week was developed by T-K, the winner of a previous WFQ from the VIP Forum.  The question is:

Please identify the 4-speed manual transmission(s) that were used in the 1971 - 1973 Mustangs.  A complete response will include the name of the transmission(s), the years in which it/they was/were used and the difference(s) between the transmissions.

Good Luck!
The anticipated response:

-Wide ratio( 5 ) and close ratio ( 6 )
-Close ratio only in 71
-Wide ratio = 31 tooth on second gear and Close = 28 tooth on second gear.

Good job to all the guys who submitted answers because all three answers are correct. However mweeps submitted the most complete answer of the three and is therefore declared the official winner with VIP bragging rights. The key was naming the second gear tooth count - thank T-K for that since he developed the question. Additionally mweeps has the opportunity to develop the next WFQ question.

Let Jeff73Mach1 come up with the question for next week just for putting up every RUG number. I had originally left out the unicorn 72-73 Close ratio, then I doubted myself and put it in. When I went to post there were no replies yet and after mulling over the inclusion of the unicorn two members had posted.
