VIP Weekly Fun Question for May 3, 2014
SUPERSTARS,

My apologies again for the delay in posting the VIP WFQ exercise until today. As a result of the "late" posting, I will extend the exercise until Tuesday.

The problem:

Please describe the specific circumstance(s) whereby a 1972 Mustang would have received a single chrome rectangular mirror, mounted on the driver's door, as standard equipment.

Again, this exercise will end at approximately 7:00 PM (CST) on Tuesday, May 6, 2014.

Good Luck!

BT
The desired response is that at the beginning of the 1972 model year, ALL Mustangs received the dual color keyed outside rear-view mirrors. In mid year for the 1972 models, all standard hardtops, convertibles and sportsroofs were fitted with the single chrome rectangular mirror, mounted on the driver's side door as standard equipment.

Midyear through 1972, the dual mirrors were changed to single chrome rectangular mirror on standard hardtops, convertibles, and Sportroofs. It appears that only the Mach1's and Grandes may have gotten the dual color-keyed mirrors.

Do I win the prize of a full night with the goat? Oh boy oh boy oh boy!

A standard coupe or fastback without the option. Dual racing mirrors included on Mach 1, convertible and Grandé models.

SUPERSTARS!

To repeat the problem:

Please describe the specific circumstance(s) whereby a 1972 Mustang would have received a single chrome rectangular mirror, mounted on the driver's door, as standard equipment.

Based on the above, "Midlife" has provided the desired response and has earned a new icon, bragging rights and the option to develop the next "regular" WFQ. Congratulations!

Congrats, Midlife!

Rusty, a 1973 Mach 1, needs a lot of work.
Billy, a 1976 Ford Bronco, also needs a lot of work.

Holy crap! Someone hold the goat for me!

So I am supposed to come up with the next VIP or regular WFQ? I gotta think on that a bit...I'm not an expert yet on 71-73's.
