VIP Weekly Fun Question for April 5, 2014
SUPERSTARS!

The problem for this week:

Please describe the specific circumstance(s) whereby a Mustang that was produced during the 1971 - 1973 model year would have had a C4 transmission and 351 engine.

This exercise will end at approximately 7:00 P.M. (CST) on Monday, April 7, 2014.

Good Luck!

BT
There was one (1) M-Coded (351 4V) fastback built in 1971 with the C4 transmission.

There were two (2) H-Coded (351 2V) Convertibles built in 1973 with the C4 transmission.

If they ran out of FMX or C6 transmissions.

It would have to be a lightweight chassis.

I'm going off the board and think this is a trick question... There are no circumstances where you could get a C4 married to a 351 Cleveland. The C4 was used with the 302 and smaller engines. The 351 was paired with the stronger FMX or C6.

SUPERSTARS!

After reading over the question and seeing the responses that have been received so far (which are all INCORRECT), I have decided to revise the question a bit and allow those of you who have responded a second opportunity to respondSmile.

The problem for this week:

Please describe the specific instance(s) whereby a Mustang that was produced during the 1971 - 1973 model year had a C4 transmission and 351 engine.

Perhaps this will help y'all out a bitAngel.

Again, this exercise will end at approximately 7:00 P.M. (CST) on Monday, April 7, 2014.

The C4 was available as a option if ordered with the 351 2V motor. The standard tranny was a 3 speed manual but the C4 could be ordered as a option.

The C6 came with the 351 4V models.
