VIP Weekly Fun Question for April 20, 2013
SUPERSTARS!

This week's VIP Weekly Fun Question (WFQ) was submitted by Don65Stang as a result of his having "won" the last VIP WFQ. Thanks, Don!

The Problem:

Which of the following factory component(s)/option(s)/choice(s) was/were not available on ANY 1971-1973 Mustang with body codes 63R, 65D, 65F, or 76D?

AM/8-track
Power Windows
Full Console
Rear Spoiler
Tilt Steering
Power Front Brakes
Mag 500 wheels
Front Spoiler
Selectaire Conditioner
Convenience Group
AM\FM Radio
Heavy Duty Battery
Locking Axle
Ram Air Hood
Instrumentation Group
Belted Traction Tires

The correct response will identify each option(s) above, if any, that was/were not available on the cited body style(s).

This exercise will end at approximately 7:00pm (CST) on Monday, April 22, 2013.

Good Luck!

BT

after reading through the 72 Buyers guide, and the 71,72 dealer facts organizers.
Belted Traction Tires were not available, only the Belted Bias-ply tires
and the Front spoiler was standard on the Mach 1

AM/8-track available option
Power Windows available option
Full Console available option
Rear Spoiler available option
Tilt Steering available option
Power Front Brakes available option
Mag 500 wheels available option with comp suspention pacage
Front Spoiler standard on Mach 1
Selectaire Conditioner available option
Convenience Group available option
AM\FM Radio available option
Heavy Duty Battery available option
Locking Axle available option
Ram Air Hood available option
Instrumentation Group available option
Belted Traction Tires Was not an available option

I hope this is right.

I think that the only option listed that wasn't available on cars under the listed body codes was the front spoiler, which was available only on the Boss 351, a non-Mach1 Sports roof car.

SUPERSTARS!

As the "Winner" of last week's VIP WFQ, "Ol Tricky Don" (AKA Don65Stang) brought forward a STRONG problem for y'all this week. To repeat the problem:

Which of the following factory component(s)/option(s)/choice(s) was/were not available on ANY 1971-1973 Mustang with body codes 63R, 65D, 65F, or 76D?

AM/8-track
Power Windows
Full Console
Rear Spoiler
Tilt Steering
Power Front Brakes
Mag 500 wheels
Front Spoiler
Selectaire Conditioner
Convenience Group
AM\FM Radio
Heavy Duty Battery
Locking Axle
Ram Air Hood
Instrumentation Group
Belted Traction Tires

The desired response is the "Front Spoiler."

One of the keys to the desired response is the fact that the front spoiler was only available on the 1971 Boss 351. The other "thing to know" is that the Boss 351 was classified as having the "02" (63D) Body Style which was not called out in the "question."

While we had a couple Members to respond with the desired response, Matrixx was the First and has "won" bragging rights, a nice new Icon and the option to develop the next VIP WFQ.

Congratulations, Daniel!

Cool, I responded after reading that it was standard on boss but the spoiler was added on at the dealers and not the factory.

I finally get the spotlight yay!
