Undercoating underside of front fenders
#1
What is everyone using to coat the underside of the front fenders, regular undercoating or some kind of bedliner material? On my 73 Mach I think I used the aerosol rubberized undercoating. I have some small dings from rocks being throw up. I'm wanting something that is thick so this doesn't happen again. Thanks, Ryan.

I've used rubberized under-coating.
You have to do several coats but wait quite a while between the last coats, or fall off.

Do you have the plastic inner fenders in place? They help deflect a lot of road debris

I have used rubberized undercoat in the past. This time I think I have enough lizard skin left over to do the fenders. My only thoughts about using undercoat is keeping the same texture as the rest of the underside.

Don, yes I do have the plastic innners in place. The place that I got the small dings is the top of the fenders underside. The tires flung rocks up.

Is the bed liner material thicker than the rubberized undercoating?
