Thoughts on wheels
#1
So I'm looking to take a page out of Roy's book (Tnfastbk). I like the 17x8 front with 18's on the rear. I'd be looking to go with a 17x8 (245/45) front and 18x10 (285/40) rear. Since my car is red with black strips I was considering go with the black version of what he has. Anyone have these on our cars in black? My interior is custom TMI sport R's in black with the red stitching. What do you guys think??

I think that combo will look really good with the red on black. I like the size choice as well.

73 Grandé H Code. Headman long tube headers, T-5 Transmission, 3.70 Traclok, Lowered 1" all around, Aussie 2v heads w/ 2.19 intake, 1.71 exhaust, screw in studs, full roller cam 608/612 lift 280/281 duration LSA 112, Quick Fuel 750 CFM double pumper, AirGap intake.

I like the black. If you want some red to show in the wheels you can paint the calipers red.

Forgot to mention Don that I have Wilwood  disk all the way around, drilled/slotted with the red calipers.

That should look good when you go cruising by Smile. And, there's enough opening they'll show when you're stopped.

I like it. I think it would look fast standing still!
