Someone wasn't thinking ahead when they put the lower quarter patches in this one, apparently.

Who cares about the spoiler when someone forgot to weld trim tabs onto the quarters - and painted it anyway?

The bodywork and paint suggest that it certainly was, and probably not that long ago.

Rimshot.

If folks are going to sell misrepresented crap (not that I suggest or condone it - and that means you, the dishonest flippers who may be reading this), they might as well do it like that Lakeland creep on eBay, who knows to hide the worst and make it look like the best. This blue Mach is up on eBay right now, from said seller. Though I question the original paint claim, given the hood and twistlocks (not to mention the obvious paint color difference between the door and fender, incorrect stripes, Boss spoiler, other small oddities), at least this one was certainly made to look halfway decent.

Still, the stock of this seller is 90% disaster, 10% passable.

On a related note, my favorite "it's-not-what-it-is, its-how-you-photograph-that-cheap-paint-job" car from this seller was a Lincoln Mark IV - that fetched $13k! - with huge gaps issues and one fender sitting an inch off of the other from crash damage. Note the missing RH lens trim too. Mark IV's are typically gappy at the hood, but someone who knows the difference between the factory gaps and otherwise will spot this one as a freakin' nightmare:

I'll never understand how someone thinks that leaving the back seats filthy with dust for the photo will add credibility to the barn find status...
Like being a barn find is a good thing or something?
So it's an 8k car plus another 8k for barn dust! I wonder if he will separate...?
