Steering wheel

I was trying to get the steering wheel off my 73 this past weekend but had no luck. I removed the section that has the horn (that section goes from 9 to 3 o'clock) and the nut securing the wheel to the steering column. Am I missing something? I've been able to remove the steering wheel in the past..but haven't done so for a long, long time. Thanks!!

You need a puller. I use one like this since its useful for other applications

Most part stores will loan you one.
