steering box torque

Just hung my re built steering box on the car. I couldn't really find the torque for a '72. I found the '67-70 was 55-65 ft lbs...I went to 70. What is correct?Undecided

I looked in motor's Manual... no mention of torque.

I'd lay into it with a 1/2 in drive ratchet and job done. 70ft lb sounds right
