stainless steel fuel tank
Does anyone have or know if there is a stainless steel fuel tank for a 73 Mach 1?
www.rickstanks.com/ can build anything you want. Chuck
NPD was offering a stainless version of the stock tank, but was out of stock when I needed one.

1973 Mach 1 Q code 351 4V, 9A paint, standard interior, 3.50 rear, C6 trans.
Since it's around the same subject, is there a self-sealing type fuel cell on the market that can be adapted to the factory location?

Fuel filler neck might prove a problem, but it'll sure make a potential rear ender a lot safer.

How to buy a '71-73 Mustang:
Rule #1: Assume all classic car sellers are guilty until proven innocent.
Rule #2: No classic car dealer is ever innocent; thus, they are all guilty.
Rule #3: Buy from trustworthy people: Fellow forum members. Visit 7173Mustang's For Sale forum.
Rick quoted me $800 i think? If a new galvanized tank lasts half as long as the original it will last longer than me.
