Shifter bezel seal
#1
Last summer I replaced the shifter seal, there pretty much wasn't anything left of it being original. Now, I took the car out yesterday for a short trip and as I was waiting for our son I noticed that the top half of the seal is gone. It appears as if it as dissovled, I probably drove the car about 400 miles last year after replacing the seal. I don't know of any problems with the car that would of caused this. Do you think that an electrical current from somewhere caused it? The lower plug in the shifter housing is fine.
