September 2016 COTM

I had been holding off submitting it, because I have been wanting to update my pictures, but I'll go with what I have. I have my Mustang for about a year and a half. Got it in February of last year. 351C 2V with FMX. Since then I have added the rear spoiler, replaced all the missing badges, racing stripes, recovered all the seats, new dash pad, new seat belts, replaced the air conditioning, got a radio that works, and installed a new intake so I could put a 4 barrel carb on with some dress-up. I am still planning on putting on headers and fixing the sail panels. It has not travelled far. Originally sold at Tommy Vaughn in Houston.

Lots more pictures in my album on FLICKR

That looks one sweet ride. Looking at how little you done to the exterior in your description it must have been in really good condition when you purchased it

That's the same color as my first Mach 1. I really like the black hood strips and think it really goes well with the vinyl top. Voted!

Car is super sweet, got my vote.

I noticed the hose that goes from the front of the carb to the breather on the drivers valve cover.
I wonder if it represents a large vacuum leak?

I tried to run a PCV Valve with your same setup (switched one breather for PCV) with no joy because of a wild cam. Now I have two breathers
like you one in each valve cover BUT I connected the hose to the air cleaner base.
