Rear Springs
#1
Was working on my rear springs tonight and was wondering how Rust Bullet or POR-15 would hold up to the flexing. Or should I not paint them at all and let them grow old gracefully. They are Grab-A-TraK 4.5 Standards (already black) Anybody have some input?

For what it's worth, I put the Grab a Track on without painting mine... the black looked better than rust to me!

I put Grab A Track 4.5s on my 65 in the black paint they arrived with. They still look good.

If you are going to paint them you could use an epoxy paint, they are good for parts that flex.

I know, sometimes it hard to admit you bought an inferior product..A 1/3 of a gallon is nothing compared to all the products I've bought in over 25 years of doing this that didn't perform as advertised & in the long run ended up costing way more in redo's than the product itself. You Live & learn....
