Rear License Plate Lens
#1
Need either a photo or a description of how the lens (only the lens) over the rear license plate light is attached. Is it glued to the gasket? or attached some other way? Thank you.

There is a frame around it that is held in place with a screw. There is no glue. Should pull off once you remove the frame holding it.

I could be wrong, but I think the lens is one of only a few parts common to all years of Mustangs from '65 to '73, and was used on so many other Fords as well.

It does also have a cork gasket to keep water out. Add some electrical grease to prevent the bulb and socket from corroding over time. You can get at your local parts house.
