rear brakes

Hi,

I look at the thread/photo's of Jeff8877:

The first photo with the rear brake shoes, do i mount mine wrong?

The cable goes under the 2 springs at the top. Other than that, your good.

Eddy,

You are missing the "T" shaped piece that goes on after brake shoes and before the emerg brake line (shoe guide plate). Take a look at my pic in the post you referenced.

Good spotting! Goes in the same place the 2 springs connect. It goes on first though.

Eddy,

If you don't mind me asking where did you get your replacement parts? I'm looking at redoing my rear drums and the search is getting a little frustrating. I can't seem to find a one stop shop for all the parts. Thanks

Just remember one shoe is bigger than the other. If you put them on bass ackwards or 2 large on one side and 2 small on the other, you are going to have issues.
