Ram air hood springs
Ok it is completely restored nothing original on it. You like that better. Everyone knows the phosphate gives up and it is the original springs and hinges and the hood is original. I replaced any safety items like I posted in my thread when I cleaned the car up. All the originals are boxed up. I would have to be an idiot to run a car with the original gas lines, rubber brake lines and such. 
If you go and look at the untouched original last cougar convertible made at NPD it is rusty everywhere with like 400 miles on it and always in a garage. Unpainted raw steel was rusty when the cars got to the dealer new. 
My car sat in an open pole barn on a dirt floor for 37 years was never in a garage until last year. Yes the phosphate pieces rusted and yes as I stated in my thread last year I reworked the phosphate. 
I did the same thing with the vert. I took it apart cleaned and detailed and yes I did the phosphate on that also as I stated in posts on it. I have never made false statements like you love to say I do.

When a man is in the woods and talks and no women are there is he still wrong??
