Quick duraspark question
#1
If I run my new duraspark 2 off the original coil wire, which aftermarket coil will work with the reduced voltage through the resisted wire? I have a flame thrower coil, will this work with this set-up? I think its the 1.5 ohm coil.

I run a ford TFI ignition coil from a mid 90's 5.0 powered f150 and have had great results. The coil never over heats and can be mounted in any position with no worries. You could run the flamethrower coil if needed, it shouldn't give you any problems.
