Is that a "Playboy pink" mustang? I came across a '67 coupe about 15 years ago that was ordered in playboy pink.

I could be wrong but I don't think any of the 71-73's were offered in Playboy Pink I think that Lois Emingger had to get her car painted after the fact because it couldn't be ordered in pink.

I could be wrong and I'm sure one of the tech advisers will jump in shortly.

Ya...I dont know if it was stock color or not....Im thinking not "+1 to mite be wrong on that thou" ..Top still looks good...My area is quite good on cars...Rust is rarely a big issue long as the car been here most of it's life.

Dad drove a pink 'n white with grey primer '56 Ford back when he was street racing as a kid.
Said it added extra embarrassment to the pilots of the small block Chevy powered losers Big Grin

And, BTW, I'd drive that bubble gum pink coupe any day, all day... thumb

They did. I stripped 1 back in January. I don't remember why they had to paint Lois car.

They could have been ordered in pink but do not know if that particular shade was one of the 98 or so "special" colors. Notice it is darker than the blue coupe's pink color.

Lois' car was originally white then painted a very light shade of pink. True statement.

Looks the same to be the same color to me. Since the inside would be pretty rough (not polished) it makes sense that it would look a little darker on the outside.
