Overpriced mild custom with the wrong stripes...

...and I love every bit of it. Looks even better with the top up too:

It's one of those oddly fantastic cases where whitewalls look perfectly at home on aluminum rims - and with the car itself. Someone really knew what they were doing when they chose the colors for the outside.

Even the orphaned side stripe seems to work here.

Wow... that really is a nice looking vert. Yes, about $4 or $5k too much. I like the 73 slotted rims.

Nice, I like the Argent Hockey puck strips. I agree with 73StangCoupe on the price, though.

Dig that add on air. It could be an original Ford accessory. I know they had them available.
And I agree - for a modded car - it does look good. With the pics it is hard to tell how straight the body is...
I have heard too many horror stories about folks buying cars off the 'net and the cars are "friendly" = They wave at ya =

The bodywork is so terrible there are ripples or waves in the paint!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway - I really like the whitewalls with the aluminum wheels.

Man o man.... I really would like to own a car with "rare" dealer add on air!!! However I've always had an appreciation for 71-3 verts. That one does look pretty good.

The WSW's on the Aluminum wheels is a different look. I checked the 73 brochure and it looks like all the cars/wheel options depicted had the WSW's except the Aluminum wheels, which had Firestone Wide Ovals raised white letters.

Funny thing - the white ring on the tire compliments the circular rings on the rim (both those engraved into the aluminum, and the inferred ring shape created by the curvature of the slots.
