Original Boss type side stripes
#11
I had a LOT of scuffs and scratches on my black '85 Nissan 4x4, and I used some Color Wax - Black, which helped fill them in.

I think your best bet for scratches is to use a fine point Sharpie.  Draw through the scratch with the Sharpie and wiped the excess off immediately with a damp paper towel - you're only trying to recolor the lighter edges of the vinyl in the scratch - once the Sharpie ink gets into the scratch to recolor the lighter edges, the job's done.

Along the lines of Don's logic, you could always get one of those Magnum Magic Markers and just 'restripe' the whole thing (color in your stripes).  Make sure you stay in the lines, though.  rofl

Here you go

For Argent

For black

THAT WAS NOT FUNNY!

Ok maybe a little.

But hey - I spend real money.  (Usually coins LOL)  but I do my small part to keep the world turning.  Smile

Some of us thought it was!!

I'm wondering if a sign, decal and wrap shop might have a fix idea. I realize they would probably just redo or replace any damaged sign or decal, but who knows, there may be some sort of trick out there you don't know about.
Also, what about a paint stick in flat black?
Geoff.

I learn something new every day!

Ray the paint stick idea might be a good one - maybe the ones for cabinets at lowes / home depot if they have black as they would fill in the low spot
