Original Boss type side stripes
#1
I have original side stripes on my convertible (ordered with the Décor Group option).  But since my car is a survivor - I would rather touch up and repair spots where I can instead of replacing them.

They have a few scratches and spots that need attention.  Does anyone have anything they have done to repair spots/minor damage on these vinyl stripes?

Thanks!

Don, that cracked me up!!
If you were a Canadian, I'd call you "Red Green". (He was/is a comedian who used duct tape for practically everything in his shows, very funny)

That’s hilarious! And it comes in argent or black.
I remember The Red Green show, he was a riot and used duct tape on everything. Very funny!

Oh ya, I really loved that show. Been awhile since I've seen it on. He really was funny, miss that show.

You might be able to get some scraps of 3M vinyl from a local sign shop or automotive wrap shop. No idea what would match the gloss level of your stripes, so probably best to visit in person.

Ray, I have a few boxes of NOS stripes, and some pieces. Ill never use them all.. let me know what you need and Ill send you something... PM me with the details. I take it you are just looking for any piece of an original stripe that you can cut up accordingly?

THAT WAS NOT FUNNY!

Ok maybe a little.

But hey - I spend real money. (Usually coins LOL) but I do my small part to keep the world turning. Smile

And sorry - it looks like I mislead you all! My spots and scuffs are really small. I don't have any missing stripes!

-Even considered using a Sharpie brand permanent marker but I don't want it to look obvious that I 'colored it in'.
Also might just detail the stripes as good as possible while leaving the few scuffs and scrapes. Car is a survivor.
