On the Market a long time
#1
This car has been for sale here in RI for around 5 years, same dealership.
I called once, the guy said "come see it, but don't offer less then the asking price, I kick you off the Lot".

I think its nice looking but pricey!!, also did they make the 351 CJ in 1973?

Tell them the hood paint is incorrect (too close to the front edge), the wheels are a matter of personal taste, the stripes look nice but may not be original, same for the shift handle, and the steering wheel obviously isn't original and the spoiler should be painted argent to match the stripes and hood, and Mustangs of that era did not have "traction control." Discuss the merits of whether those changes increase or decease its value and go from there. The price they are asking is a starting point but seems high unless the engine compartment and underside are spotless? Anyone looking to buy a car should be picky and not feel bad about pointing out things that others may think about but not say. Some may not care and some may like them but for a car that looks mostly stock, I cannot not see what's wrong with letting people know what is looked like originally versus how it is know should they decide they want to go back to how it came. I guess I've become very jaded seeing all sort of crazy descriptions and prices of cars that clearly indicate a lack of knowledge. We're talking about thousands of dollars, not somebody buying some $1 hotwheels cars so the buyer should learn as much as they can.

Maybe by traction control they mean that with less horsepower in '73, it's harder to break the tires loose?

And those are 71/72 stripes, not 73.

The 71/72 stripes were available on 73s with the decor group the only one to get the "73" stripe was the mach one.
