Oil, temp and voltmeter
#1
Ok, I drove the car for the first time ever.  Was very pleased. Of course I have many issues to solve,

First up is all three of the gauges are not working. Oil, temp, and oil pressure are all not working. Where do I start to solve the issue?

Are they stock or aftermarket? Stock are temperature, oil pressure, and ammeter.

All factory. I should add, instrument cluster is not installed.

Power for the 3 center gauges comes from the constant voltage regulator located on the back of the instrument cluster.  Without it installed, those gauges have no power.

Let me check your shorts!

A heads up on putting the cluster in. If the dash cover and pad are not installed you can reach in from the top and connect the wire harness and speedometer cable much easier than from front or under dash.

Cluster is in, oil, temp work well. Can not tell on amps yet. Right now I am thrilled knowing I have oil pressure and not overheating.

I wouldn’t bother spending too much time with the amp meter. Do the Amp meter conversion to voltmeter from the Rockrtman!
