October 2012 COTM! 73 mach1
#1
i have owned "christine" since 1986 when i bought her for a daily driver in college and have not looked back since then. got my first speeding ticket in her, (was reckless driving but the cop liked the car and dropped it to speeding only) been investigated by FBI with it when someone had pics of her and vin number and sold it in a scam online to someone in texas.(had to go to local field office and show the car and the agents loved it) she has sat in back yard for 8 years awaiting a garage, (wife unknowingly to me entered it with overhauling with foose but didnt get choosen)

finally...bought a house and built 2 car detached garage to rebuild her....and here we are, countless shows and cruise in's...loving every minute!

thought about going MCA concourse driven and attended my first mca grand national and took home a bronze award...but felt like christing didnt want to be some stuffy old car that sat in a garage and trailered...so iam putting her back to the way i would like her, sticking close to what would be original....but with my choice on flair so to speak and DRIVING HER! oh yea it took my over 15 years to find the correct nos space saver tire..lol (all ford nationals in pa!)

she was born on 14feb73, 351v2, c6, 3:50 9", 4b bright green gold metallic, fold down rear seat option. marti report states she is one of seven, and all went to the same dso. (since she is a valentines day car, while restoring her i found a yellow crayon heart on passengers side inner body right under where the antenna cord goes into the cabin area)

its been 26 years of blood, sweat and FUN owning her!

hyena429 she is suppose to have the steel rims with dog dish and trim rings, just havent found a set that was good. the magnums are from the previous owner, they are still in great condition after all these years, just gotta keep an eye on the center caps, they are always getting lifted! (just wait till i catch the thieves, ill break some fingers lol)

again thanks everyone.
