Number confusion
#1
I'm confused by the Marti Report vs the 72 Sprint Registry websight numbers. Supposedly there were only 90 Coupes with 351 4V according to the registry. Can anybody help me interpet this? Huh

Mark, I am not able to see the "disconnect" between the two documents. Please elaborate on what you see as the problem.

It looks like there were 735 coupes with Sprint Package B - Marti and the web site agree there. Package B is independent of the engine choice though. For all sprint coupes, there were only 90 with the Q code 351-4V. Only 90 of the 6,247 sprint coupes produced had the Q code - pretty rare indeed.

I guess that would be the engine transmission codes. I thought they only made 90 351 4V w/c6 in the Sprint coupes

Mark, the stats are for all 72 hardtops (coupes only & not even Grandes). So there were 339 Q-code/C6 hardtops. Independent of that stat there were 735 Sprints with pkg B. Each stat is separate from the other stats.
