Hi! Thanks for the opportunity to submit my car for Car of the Month! It is an honor to be associated with such a great bunch of people.

Anyway, as some of you already know, this Mustang is the last car purchased by my late boyfriend, Allen Hamilton, and I. We found it in Virginia, trailered it home, and 6 months later, he passed away. After settling his estate, his family offered me any car I wanted. Of course, I chose this one, since his last text message to me (2 days before he died) was "Is that Mustang ready yet? I wanna take it out and get a ticket! I don't care! I will never grow up!"

So I slowly began restoring it (even through a major back surgery), and now she is on the road (and the race track!)

Thanks again for accepting me into your "family"!

That looks real nice and is a fantastic tribute to your late boyfriend. You've got my vote!!

Jeff T.

Low buck, touring style, '73 Convertible "rolling restoration", 351c, 2v heads with a shave and a haircut, Performer intake, Holley 650(ish), roller rockers, screw in studs, guideplates, stainless valves, Duraspark / Motorsports MSD, T-5 conversion. 1-1/8" front, 3/4" rear swaybars KYB shocks and some home brewed subframe connectors. Future plans; JGC steering box, Cobra brakes and... paint, interior, etc.

When I die I want to die like grandpa, peacefully in my sleep... not screaming, like his passenger.

I love purple! That's a sweet color!
What size tires are you running?

You got my vote!

If you don't have time to do it right the first time, you sure as Hell don't have time to do it right the second time.
