Not a Mustang....but still kinda cool
#1
I know we're all about the 71-73 Mustangs on here and Mustangs in general but I came across this on Craigslist here locally and thought it was pretty cool.  I'd drive it for sure...you know...for fancy date nights.   Big Grin   It's still Ford so I'm sure everyone one here will still appreciate this car and it's overall condition and yeah...that engine too.

Hagerty sent out rankings of how collectable cars were. The Lincoln was actually ahead of the Pantera, lol.
He will keep that one for a long time wanting that price.

I have one out at my farm. Mine is a 1971 model and has been sitting for many years.

Nice! Try and find one of equal condition: they are hard to find. I was looking at one a couple of years ago, but it wasn't in this good of a shape.

Let me check your shorts!

We lived in Florida for years and the sandy soil is almost 50% salt.

There was a farm north of Tampa that had dozens of collectible cars sitting around and all of them looked like they had been buried up to the center of the wheel openings.  They were not buried they were just completely gone from that point down.

My wife said it looked like butter melting.

It's actually not....'bad'. For the 70's. Saw it as a kid and enjoyed it, except for James Brolin. Futurama did an episode where Bender got hit by a WereCar and every full moon would turn into one. They used The Car and even the horns.

detritusmaximus, the Mark series Lincoln's really were nice highway cruisers. Nice looking cars with typical 70's styling, handling and big block mileage. Was like riding down the highway while sitting on your living room sofa, which you were reminded of you ever had to do any hard cornering!
The "Car" from the above photo must of come down the same assembly line as the Griswold's Wagon Queen Family Truckster!     Big Grin
