Hi from Phoenix. I read the details. First, a lot more love on this board for our years. Wink

The engine swap sounds great. Not surprized you had to stiffen the chassis. When you get a chance maybe do a write up on the swap with some pics in a build thread. It's interesting the exhaust manifolds worked with no mods, that could be valuable to someone looking to do a similar swap.

Low buck, touring style, '73 Convertible "rolling restoration", 351c, 2v heads with a shave and a haircut, Performer intake, Holley 650(ish), roller rockers, screw in studs, guideplates, stainless valves, Duraspark / Motorsports MSD, T-5 conversion. 1-1/8" front, 3/4" rear swaybars KYB shocks and some home brewed subframe connectors. Future plans; JGC steering box, Cobra brakes and... paint, interior, etc.

When I die I want to die like grandpa, peacefully in my sleep... not screaming, like his passenger.

just a quick picture under the hood.
Yes some unfinshed things like the power distribution front PS corner and the clutch cylinder resevoir, and fuse box mounting.....but has been 100% operational for a long long time.
Will try to accumulate notes and details on the swap, btu really busy right now.
The aluminum cowel support braces are not REQUIRED, but make life much easier under the hood on these cars
