New Mustangs start arriving in Australia.

Hi Folks,

The new Mustangs for 2015 have just landed on our local Brisbane/ Australia wharf yesterday, and will shortly be sent to the Ford dealers around my State.

I work on the wharf, and have seen about fifty or so come in already. I believe that sales have been strong so far, and the Mustangs are all sold out well into 2017.

I checked them out, and i think they're pretty sharp looking cars and well finished off too. One thing though, i think the choice of wheels could have been better, as i don't think they do the car justice in an overall appearance wise thing. (Just my humble opinion though)

For me, well, i'm going to keep my '73's for some time as i love the shape and styling best of all.

I love mine, but Ford really screwed up with the Performance Pack wheels-those suckers are excessively heavy and the 15" Brembo's are also extremely heavy. The car could be much more responsive with lighter wheels and aluminum calipers and with a two piece rotor design.

"I love my Hookers!" and "Get some Strange" probably have a different connotation to non automotive enthusiasts!

Interesting feedback there Jeff. I wonder what wheels would be better for the car?

there are aftermarket wheels that are as much as 12 pounds lighter per wheel. THere are aftermarket brakes that are 20+ pounds lighter but they are more drag race oriented. This is all unsprung weight that is easily felt during driving. The GT 350R uses much lighter wheels.
