[attachment=20534]Hello, everyone! So glad to find a site just for the what is often called the "Big Body" Mustangs. I fell in love with the 71 when I saw the movie Diamonds Are Forever when I was a senior in high school. A few months later I special ordered a beautiful 1972 Mach 1 with just a few options such as sports seats, tape stripes, A/C, power steering, brakes and a 351 2B. It was a beautiful Gold Glow. It was all I could afford after trading in my 1967 RS Camaro! I got 1k in trade value toward the coat of the new Mach 1.

What I just bought and still waiting on the delivery of is the Mustang Mach 1 that I would have ordered if I had the money back in 1971.

My new old Mach 1 was also recently on EBay which I have been watching for a long time. I never really intended to buy a car until I retired but the more I looked at this car the more I convinced myself to go ahead and pull the trigger on it. I knew that if I didn't buy it, it would be one of those decisions I would regret. The car is loaded with just about every option and was restored about 12 years ago.

As you might guess I can't wait to get the car and go back in time about 40 plus years. Great to know that there are guys like us that love the 71 73 Mustangs. They are great cars and just as good as any of the other years or perhaps better.

Glad to have you aboard, and i hope you'll enjoy the forum.
Your Mustang really looks the part, and i love the silver and black combo. Very classy indeed. (Pewter silver is it not?)
