Yesterday I traveled to Prague, Oklahoma - where this convertible was sold new.  I had done my research prior to going and arranged some visits with people who were familiar with the dealership.  I met a guy named Chuck Henry who worked there and knew the owner's sons very well.  Shared some interesting stories - I call it 'bench racing'.  Mr. Henry is a really cool guy! Along with the great visit, he gave me some neat advertising items that "were just collecting dust" from the old dealership. Here are some pics:

The bumper sticker is just a pic in case I want to try and reproduce it later.

This key chain is earlier than 1972 (Falcon) but I still like it!

And this ruler was broken and not a 'yard stick' anymore but hey - I like it too.

Terrific story, and finds. Priceless. Thanks for sharing.
Is the building pictured in the March post still there?

Thanks.  As I get older, I seem to enjoy the people and stories behind the cars more than before.

I believe the building or maybe front façade is still there as I have been told.  There was a fire there many years ago, so I am not entirely sure.  I did not get over there to see it on this trip.  I know the dealership had a lot and small building across the street where they parked and sold cars.  I have been assured this one definitely still there as a new small café now operates in that building.

I'll be going back there in the near future. - Hopefully with the car!!!

OK I have great news!

Today my convertible's engine is FINALLY back running.  Huge thank to Chuck (C9zx) and another good friend - George P for all the help and assistance.

Tried to upload video but filesize too large.

Sounds sweet!

Should be on the road in a few weeks.

Carb looks green in pic! Luckily not in-person!
Used my photo editor to increase brightness and it amplified the green tint. Lol

Restoring the breather assembly.

Used Evaporust product to de-rust the smaller attached vacuum door and round pods. Worked really well!
