Mustang Memories 2015 Pictures
#1
Sorry to take so long getting the pictures put up have had some troubling times with family. Daughter is stage 4 with kidney failure.
I did not put the pictures in any real order just as they were taken. Excuse the bad pictures bright sun is not the place to do a photo shoot and got setting totally wrong on some. I did mange to connect with a few other members, Larry and his wife Starr and their beautiful red Q 73 convertible. Also met Nijel and his red 72 Mach 1 he scored a really nice console at the swap meet. There was a really rare 71 429 CJ ram air Grandé. It is difficult to see in the picture but I think there were only 30 some made and this one is nice. He left his gas cap at filling station, OHG. Only a hand full of 71 - 73 mustangs present.
There were fewer old mustangs than the new Shelby and Roush Mustangs. They need to have separate shows for the new they are getting boring. They are great cars but I can go to showroom and see them. I think attendance was way down something like 800 and had many more in the past. The swap meet was sparse and high prices for sure. The GT-350 is a tribute car but well done.
Had a pretty good day it was hot and the sun was for sure doing some burning.
Everyone keep communicating so we can have more meetings at shows and events.
Never done a link like this so let me know if it works.

"I love my Hookers!" and "Get some Strange" probably have a different connotation to non automotive enthusiasts!

Great photos, thanks for sharing. Some of those prices seem expensive, guess they're NOS but I've seen cheaper 71-73 NOS parts in the UK!

And nice to see some sun in those pictures. In the UK it's our summer so it raining every day. This August in the second wettest on record Sad.

Yes the prices were up there. I had bought a car on eBay that is why I was there and he also had some great parts at much better prices. I put a set of black deluxe door panels on eBay from him that are near perfect. I will probably put a couple consoles up also that I got from him. My biggest score was two NASA hoods with the locks. I will paint one for my convertibles and also the stock flat one so if I sell they can go back to stock.
My nephew lives in England has been there probably 20 years talks like a brit now and even his emails, lol.

My prayers are with you and your family concerning your daughter.
Lost my only sister about 6 years ago to colon cancer. She was only 47 years old.

Thanks so much.
Yes it is tough cannot sleep. We took her to Hospice care today nothing more can be done she is 46 has three great girls. I had purchase a 73 convertible I had been working on for her that she will never get to enjoy. You never know what card will turn up day to day. I had worried how her and my son would handle my death and this happens. Found issue July 13 and may not last another week. What do you say to your only daughter what do you do? Was thought to be doing better when I went to Dearborn but came back to big shock. We are a tight family and will need each other for sure. Just not fair.
We all pray for that miracle that it will turn and she will walk out but have to be ready for the worst. Such a great mom and worked so hard. She worked doing fingernails for most of her life I just wonder if all the fumes from the polish and remover did the damage?

Sorry to hear the terrible news. I hope a miracle happens.

My father had a brain tumour, was a real shock, he never recovered.
And my father inlaw has just been diagnosed with liver cancer and has been given 2 months. Cancer is a truly horrible thing.

David, so sorry to hear about your daughter. I wish they could figure out a way to stop this cancer. It's a terrible thing.
Thank's for posting all the pictures from the show. Sure wish I could have made it, would have really liked to meet you, Larry, Starr, & Nigel. Had some trouble with my car the night before at the Dream Cruise. Good luck with your new black vert, it looks like a real nice find.
