Mustang car show...
Mustang car show in Port Aransas, Texas

checked out the photo gallery...not a single Big Body Mustang!! WTH!!

Guess Big Body Mustangs...need to have their own car show!!! uh huh!!!! hahaha
Its the fact that people in small cars always feel inferior to people that drive comfortable cars.

2011 Buick Regal
2010 Ford F150 Screw
2002 Triumph Trophy
1973 Dodge Challenger RT
1972 Mustang Grandé Coupe
1954 Ford F100
I kinda like showing up to a Mustang show and having the only 71-73. Happens all the time!

i went to a small 'gathering' at a Sonic. I was the only big body mustang and so I actually attracted some attention. And the dude with the 75 or 76 King Cobra that was in really nice shape got some attention too.

73 Convertible - 351C/4V CC heads/4bolt/forged flat tops/comp 270/rhodes/mallory unilite/tri-power/hookers/glasspacks/c6/3.50 limited slip/Gear Vendors/Global West sub frames, strut rods and shelby style traction bars/ Rear sway bar/tilt steering (not original)

Pics of modifications included in:
When I went to the Somerset Ky show with 1500 cars and 500 Mustangs, you could count ours on one hand. But I think thats cool
I like the fact that our cars are not as common as the earlier year mustangs. I've always liked going against the grain when it come to cars. But I think an all 71-73 show would be pretty cool.

73 Mach 1 Mustang
89 Dodge Shadow ES
94 Jeep Wrangler

That sounds like a great idea... A 71-73 Mustang national convention.

Jeff T.

Low buck, touring style, '73 Convertible "rolling restoration", 351c, 2v heads with a shave and a haircut, Performer intake, Holley 650(ish), roller rockers, screw in studs, guideplates, stainless valves, Duraspark / Motorsports MSD, T-5 conversion. 1-1/8" front, 3/4" rear swaybars KYB shocks and some home brewed subframe connectors. Future plans; JGC steering box, Cobra brakes and... paint, interior, etc.

When I die I want to die like grandpa, peacefully in my sleep... not screaming, like his passenger.

When I'm out around town I get an occassional comment referring to mine as one of the "new" body style Mustangs. Anyone else get that? Of course I let them know it is really a 73!
I have had a few people actually think my 73 convert was a 68 or 69 camaro,, go figure,, I think these people need to get out a little,,
