Ahhhhhhhhhh there is at least one other avocado interior out there...I was beginning to think it's a big conspiracy LOL! Anyway, I got mine uncovered after several years, this past weekend and I'm not too pleased with the monster I created. The carpet is in way worse shape than I recall, the front seats desperately need replaced and of course the dash and steering wheel have been trashed since about 1974. My back seats are still orig and look in good shape but of course I did not put any weight on them as I was not ready to hear the sound of stitches popping or vinyl ripping. I HAVE found a source for medium and light avocado vinyl dye and lacquer, just waiting for it to show up and see how close it is. Have pics to get posted myself.

That's a couple of nice cars you have there.
Jeff T.

Low buck, touring style, '73 Convertible "rolling restoration", 351c, 2v heads with a shave and a haircut, Performer intake, Holley 650(ish), roller rockers, screw in studs, guideplates, stainless valves, Duraspark / Motorsports MSD, T-5 conversion. 1-1/8" front, 3/4" rear swaybars KYB shocks and some home brewed subframe connectors. Future plans; JGC steering box, Cobra brakes and... paint, interior, etc.

When I die I want to die like grandpa, peacefully in my sleep... not screaming, like his passenger.

I need to get out there and work on them but it's been too hot. I did just buy a 42 inch fan to help the situation. Machman
