Nice car, & i can appricate the care given it but nothing special..the sales guy is a little over the top..& I beg to differ about being able to lay down paint as good as the factory back then..I would rather have a correctly restored car using todays products & paint technology.

I'm with you Q, paint technology has come a long way since then... like most everything else. An I-6 car, kind of neat.

Great condition, but I was never impressed by the factory paint on my 73 convert.

I've seen that maybe a year ago.... but certainly 6 months ago. I agree with you guys the paint technology is far superior today. He is great at selling the fluff..... the price??? well.... not for that car imo.

What can i say... i love a factory original car as a collection piece... For me, that i am a classic car fan, this is the car i´ll buy if i could...
I agree with you too that technology paint and etc is better now, but if you take this car not as a shinny example of a restored car but a 40 year old object which has been totally unmolested, then it makes sence to keep it that way...

i have 2 mustangs.. the 72 and the 70... both has to be restored to match factory specs and that´s my plan with this type of cars... I´ll spend lots of time and lots of money to make any of my cars LOOKS like this example... i put the "LOOKS" on capitals because this guy said another truth... an unrestored car just feels diferent... My 70 has the doors never taken off and i can asure you, they close like a fridge, no matter the old rubber, the decades of dust in the movements... nothing... i just couldn´t reproduce that feeling of a car, born that way, in my other restorations...

Bottom line... if this coupe is what this guy is trying to sell... for me, is the most interesting 72 coupé i´ve ever seen Smile

PS : I6 sounds good too Wink jejeje
