Looking for NOS trim rings
#1
Howdy people hope you have all had a pleasant Christmas.

Any suggestions on where to find nos trim rings (14in) and dog dishes for 73 mach 1. Mine have far to much curb rash for my taste. A really good repo set is a fair option too.
Thanks

There was a set of 4 on eBay the other day. Not perfect but ok. Item 331098383090. Good luck and let me know if you find any 15s!

I hear that trim rings for the 14x7's are deeper than the 14x6 variants. There is an earlier thread on the subject, I believe.

James,

Check out the Boss 302 Forum for the 15" ones. The guys on there have been finding and selling some. I have some to use but they are far from perfect. I have been trying to wet-sand them progressively from mediium grit to very fine grit in an attempt to clean up the 'rash'.

I heard you can use 15" chevy pickup trim rings from the late 80's. They (supposedly) are close. I'll try and locate some to check and compare.

Thanks Ray, I'm trying to get a piece of the B2 forum stuff. The have been helpless, but no cigar yet. I have bought some Dodge ones to 'see' also. I hd a look at some GMC ones on EBay last night. They don't have much of an inner lip. Anyway...I shouldn't hi-Jack this thread!
